Protesting the Climate Change
Two hundred and fifty people were arrested in Copenhagen today during a demonstration outside of the world climate change meeting. Police kept them at bay with pepper spray and batons. Coincidentally, 50 - 100 delegates came out of the meeting to talk to the protestors, but were also kept back by the police. None of the delegates were arrested, and none of the protestors were allowed inside of the Bella Center, where the meeting was being held. Protestors claimed that the world leaders were unsuccessful at preventing climate change, and were not considering all of their options.
