We interviewed this girl at Grand Central in NY while she was waiting for her train. I do think this is the best New Year´s resolution someone can have. I want to make this resolution my own resolution too :)
For 2010 I'm going to take more courses to keep my HR certification and knowledge up to date!!!
Check out the ambitious professionals on Michigan Avenue.
2010 is shaping up to be a great year. Check out what Chicagoans are setting their minds to accomplish.
So, given all of your resolutions, how do all of you plan to accomplish them? Any good diets, exercise routines, anger management, travel or volunteer suggestions?
my plan is to write my own zine this year! or possibly just start writing more in general...

I like your resolutions!
11) Stop complaining or losing my temper about things I have no control over and can't do anything about.
12)Don't bore people with pictures of our kids or grandchildren
13) Don't be judgemental of others.--regadless of what we think, people own their own feelings and we need to respect that concept.
I'm proud to say that my past New Year's resolutions have been fulfilled. Over the last few years, I decided that getting smarter, fitter, and adroit at the guitar were the things I'm most concerned with. And what do you know? This quarter, I got 3 As and a B, ran the marathon, and put my band on iTunes. Fuck yeah.
So for 2010, the plan is to renew these resolutions and to build on them. I'm going to finish a book or two before break ends (school starts Tuesday). Also, I just sold a bunch of guitar equipment in order to annex a bunch of new guitar equipment, so I'm going to do that in January. And I think I was overtraining my body a bit these past few weeks by going to the gym six times a week for 2-3 hours each time, so I'm going to cut back to 6 times a week for 1.5-2 hours each time. Also, eating better. I'm gon be rull sexay.
And hopefully I'm gon be rull profeshenul, tooo.
That is, if I put in a lot of hard work, I might be able to get a job in San Diego working in advertising, which is a sort of big goal for someone who grew up in Detroit, went to school in Chicago, and has never lived in California. I've often found it better to set a bunch of small, attainable goals, rather than big ones that might take more than a year to accomplish, so I'm going to prepare myself for the business by doing smaller things that will make me a better job candidate. This'll put me on track to getting a job because of all the prep work involved, and I won't underestimate the challenge of working in a competitive business setting.
Most years, I think of a ton of resolutions and within a month or two forget them. This year, I'm planning on only one goal - learning a new language.
so this time next year, I will write a bloid in italian and let you know how it went! Ciao!

I'm very much looking forward to 2010. I've been waiting for it for a while now, because it is the year that I graduate college so i have so many resolutions. This time next year I have to start paying back student loans so this year I have to prepare for that. It is also my last year to really let loose and be able to make mistakes as I have to settle down pretty soon and get my stuff together. So to prepare I have my list of resolution.
1. I actually want to gain weight in terms of muscle and become more toned and buff and get to a body fat of under 10%.
2. I want to limit my monthy bills as much as possible once its time to pay back student loans. I want to get rid of my credit card debt and put a credit on my phone bill so I only have to pay rent and student loans.
3. I just found my dream apartment that meets all my requirements and wants. So I get to start the year off with that so little by little I have to make it my dream home!
4. The big one is to find my dream job after graduation. I planned on moving to New York City but I keep falling for Chicago more and more each day.
I think thats more than enough to keep me busy this year in 2010. And I'm so excited to take on these new endevours.
