How should US fight terrorism?
US should get the Muslim organizations and Muslim communities involved in the fight against terrorism.
Islam is the world's second largest religion after Christianity, according to a 2009 demographic study there are 1.57 billion adherents, comprising 23% of the world population. Inspite of this, the Muslim population does not raise their voices. Majority of the Muslim population 99.9999% condem terrorism but hardly anyone speaks out.
Why is that???
The recent FBI raids in the US will continue and sooner or later it will affect one of the innocent Muslims, if they don't take it upon themselves to condem these acts of terrorism.

Fear of retribution
I wonder if the fear of retribution does not contribute to the silence of many Muslims on the subject of terrorism. We often read about the killing of an innocent Muslim, often a cleric, who dares speak out against Muslim terrorist acts. Perhaps, if groups, rather than individuals, spoke out, retribution would be less likely. If prominent Muslim organizations promoted a mass gathering in Washington to protest terrorism, I believe it may inspire similar action in other countries. And, it might be an eye opener to some Americans who are currently suspicious of Muslims.
