this is so sad
but my question is that haiti is such a small island that if an earthquake that big struck haiti doesnt that mean that there would be tsnuami waves in the gulf of mexico and the earthquake would stretch to other parts of the world? has dominican republic been hit?

I don't think that dominican republic was hit!
The earthquake was strong, has you know ( magnitude of 7.0) There will not be any tsunami or something like that....The problem is that Haiti is one of the most poorest country in the world...
