The Australian Open starts pretty soon!!
I absolutely love tennis and I love it when tennis season rolls around. I personally like all the major players such as Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Andy Roddick, Raphael Nadal, Maria Sharapova. Some of the best matches have been between the williams sisters and sharapova. I think back to Australian Open 2005 semifinal between Serena and Sharapova. It was so amazing. Point for point. And Nadal vs Federer is never a let down. Now that Federer has the french open title it will be interesting to see how his confidence will grow on clay. Heres a clip of serena vs. sharapova.

the draws for the austrailian open were released today..official play starts on monday. i dont particularary remember there being to many good matches at the austrailian in the past. i remember roger federer vs. marat safin in a thrilling five setter during the semifinals. maria vs. serena which is featured up above was very thrilling. but both these matches were from like 4 or 5 years. ago. I remember serena vs. sharapova during the finals. i was expecting a really good match and i saw so excited but serena totally killed sharapova and it was not a good match. but sharapova did manage to hit serena so that was entertaining.
